Dr. Camille Figueiredo is a rheumatologist with a degree in medicine from Universidade do Estado do Pará (UEPA), residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital Municipal do Campo Limpo em São Paulo, and in Rheumatology at the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP).
She has a PhD in Rheumatology from FMUSP and two postdoctoral degrees. The first post-doctorate was done in Germany by Friedrich-Alexander-Universität, Erlangen-Nürnberg University (FAU) and the second in Brazil by FMUSP.She is a collaborating researcher and full advisor of the postgraduate program in Musculoskeletal System Sciences of the Rheumatology discipline at FMUSP and occasional advisor to CEDEP- Centro de Desenvolvimento de Ensino e Pesquisa (IAMSPE). In addition, Dr. Camille is a member of the select study group “SPECTRA Group-Study Group for Xtreme-Computed Tomography in Rheumatoid Arthritis”, and a collaborating researcher in the discipline of Rheumatology and Immunology at FAU (Germany) coordinated by Dr. Georg Schett and the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health, Department of Radiology, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary coordinated by Prof. Sarah Manski. She is a researcher, scientific director, and member of the Board of Directors of the company Cobra Reumatologia / Grupo Imuno Brasil.
